COMP Cams® Offers Unprecedented Drag Racer Support In 2010
Leader in valve train technology offers drag racers unmatched levels of sponsorship and contingency support during the 2010 season
With its extensive sponsorship and contingency program, COMP Cams® will reward successful drag racers in a number of different series and classes during the 2010 race season. Contingency awards will range anywhere from $50 to $2,500 in the form of cash and product certificates, dependent upon the sanctioning body, specific event, racing class and finishing place.
“COMP Cams® increased our drag racer sponsorship and contingency program in 2010 in order to give back to the racers and the racing community who support and utilize COMP Cams® products, particularly in these slow economic conditions” said VP of Marketing Chris Douglas. “As a company made up of both current and former racers, we understand how important that support is, and we offer one of the most extensive drag race contingency programs in the performance aftermarket.”
During the 2010 racing season, COMP Cams® is proud to offer contingency awards for the following drag race sanctioning bodies and events: IHRA (Nitro Jam), IHRA (Pro-Am Tour), IHRA (Summit Team Finals), NHRA (Lucas Oil Divisional Events), NHRA (National Events), NHRA (Oklahoma State Series), NMCA (Pro Classes), NMCA (Sportsman), NMRA (Pro Classes), NMRA (Sportsman), ORSCA, PSCA, SHRA (Palm Beach Raceway) and True Street Drag Racing.
COMP Cams® is also pleased to be a sponsor of the Holly Springs & Jackson Dragways, as well as the ORSCA, NMCA and NHRA Division 4 Top Dragster series during the 2010 season.
